Take a Class

Hendricks College Network offers a variety of classes and training opportunities to help you continue your education. You can take face-to-face classes with an instructor, distance classes via video or teleconference, and online classes from the comfort of your home, the park, or wherever you have an internet connection! We offer classes to meet a variety of needs and interests.

Take an Exam

Need an exam proctored for a class you are taking? HCN proctors exams by appointment MOST Mondays and Thursdays between 9am
and 5pm. Students will still need to schedule appointments ahead of time during those days to assure that HCN has the appropriate paperwork complete and the exam available.

It may be possible to schedule exams by appointment outside of the scheduled testing hours based on staff availability. a $10 fee will be charged for any exam proctored outside the scheduled testing hours.

Let your instructor know you want to take your exam with HCN, provide him or her with our contact information, and call or email us to set up your appointment. At least one week in advance is appreciated!

Business Skills Classes

Looking to improve your skills in your current job, or to bump yourself up to the next level? These are classes that help you improve your business skills. We offer computer training, business planning, grant writing, professional certifications, and a variety of other business classes and training opportunities to help local businesses and organizations meet their training and staff development needs.

College Degree Programs

Whether you want to start college for the first time, finish up a degree that you started earlier, or get an advanced degree, HCN can help. We offer college prep/refresher classes to get you ready to study and learn, as well as guidance through the selection process, admission process, and ongoing support throughout the time you are a student. Lifelong Learning Classes

Not looking for career or college programs, but still want to keep the brain active? HCN also has academic programs for those who just like to learn. Specialized classes like Savvy Senior Computers and Travel Spanish are available to anyone interested in learning.

Online Classes

Through a partnership with Lawrence Township Community Education and Ed2Go, we offer hundreds of online, non credit classes that you can take wherever you can connect to the internet. New classes begin each month, and many result in certification or credentials.

Community Classes

Hendricks County is rich in educational opportunities! Not only does HCN provide you with business training and college programming, but we also connect you to community organizations and businesses offering classes. Whether you want to become a Master Gardener through the Purdue Cooperative Extension Office, trace your family tree at the Plainfield Library, learn cooking for Diabetics through Hendricks Regional Health, take an exercise class through Fitness Experts, or learn about skin care at Ology Spa at Clarian West, HCN can connect you to area classes and learning opportunities throughout the county!
